Rye James
About Rye James

Rye James was born, raised, and still lives in Bucks County, Pa. He lives there with his wife, two children, and three dogs. He gained his love of westerns early in life from watching such stars like John Wayne, Randolph Scott, Audie Murphy, and Clint Eastwood with his father. He loved the simpler way of life and beautiful scenery. After attending Temple University, Rye dediced to pursue writing and managed to place several articles in a few sports publications. However, he really wanted to try and help raise awareness of the western genre by writing stories about it. Although knowing that it will probably never reach the status that it held in the 1950's and 1960's, he believes that it is an underserved area.  His first novel, The Assassin, was well received for his storytelling. He followed that up with a suspense-thriller, Escape, which has also received good reviews. He returned to the Western genre with Bounty Hunter.

Rye has also published several short stories that have become top sellers on Amazon. Day Of The Assassin , a follow up to the novel, hit #2 on the Amazon charts. More of his short stories include Misconduct, The Mason Files, and Fury at Sundown.

Rye is also dedicated to helping others and donates a portion of each book to a worthy charity. He has helped St. Jude Childrens Hospital, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and The Humane Society of the United States with his works.

He is currently working on several projects, including a couple novels and several short stories.

Rye always responds to his emails so feel free to contact him at ryejames77@aol.com with interview requests, fan mail, opinions, questions, or anything else you have on your mind!

"After reading one of Rye's books, I couldn't help but read everything else he had written. I found a writer who could keep me entertained by telling a good story every time."
